ABOUT US

Josh’s Pet Care is located in Riverview, FL. We currently have two locations. One location features a 1,600 square foot home and five smaller detached air-conditioned facilities, including a grooming facility. 

Our other location features a 2,200 square foot home and two smaller detached air-conditioned facilities all located on ¾ of an acre. The pet “playground” includes a 16’ x 32’ semi-above ground pool, with three separate play areas, as well as a natural spring pond! Also included is a lovely 14’ x 24’ “dogzebo” area used to watch the games on the big screen with us and for the occasional dog Olympics! 

Josh’s Pet Care was founded by Joshua Edwards – Tampa native and alumnus of Christ the King Catholic School and Jesuit High School. Josh specialized in lawn care until one of his clients asked him to babysit his dog. Josh fell in love with this new business idea and Josh's Pet Care was soon created! 

All of Josh’s Pet Care employees have been fingerprinted, background checked, and have continuous screening through a third party. We are fully insured for the transportation of your pets with Northside Insurance and State Farm.

We believe that having a ‘home’ connection is important when you're away, and your pet will enjoy all the comforts of home. Your pets always have someone around to play and sleep with – you won’t find your four-legged friend in an outside crate or fenced area alone. We are on premise 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Josh's Pet Care specializes in pet sitting, training, walking, and bathing. We service all breeds of dogs and cats. Josh’s Pet Care has experience with all different types of animals – from a snake to a bearded dragon.

We provide pick-up and delivery service if your family friend is staying at our location. If your animal is staying at your location, we ask for a meet and greet prior to your departure. This is to ensure your pets are comfortable and familiar with us, as well as confirming your home needs are addressed. In order to keep all of our furry friends healthy and safe, we require proof of vaccinations for all new pets.
